TOWN OF MINONG
               RESOLUTION REGULATING TOWN ELECTIONS

      RESOLUTION # __33_____

BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED that at a Town Board Meeting held at the Town Hall in said Township on January 12, 2004 that the Town Board of the Town of Minong resolved to allow substitute positions or shifts, alternates, and or tabulators as needed to more efficiently conduct any elections held in the Town of Minong.

BE IT ALSO RESOLVED that the Town Board of the Town of Minong, allow for the appointment of election inspectors, alternates or substitutes, and the cut back in the number of election inspectors, to be left up to the discretion of the Clerk and or Deputy Clerk of said Town.  These decisions will be based upon the amount of ballots and the special need of each individual election, as judged necessary by the Clerk and or Deputy Clerk.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this power is regulated by the guidelines set by the Wisconsin Statutes for the proper conduction and administration of statewide and district elections.  And that the Town Clerk and Deputy Town Clerk still remains under compliance with all Wisconsin Statutes mandating town elections and appointment of election inspectors.
