 ROAD RESOLUTION

SPEED LIMIT REDUCTION

RESOLUTION    #__48__

THE PURPOSE OF THIS RESOLUTION IS TO MODERATE SPEED RESTRICTIONS ON THE FOLLOWING ROAD   GREENWOOD ROAD  

WHEREAS, the Town of Minong does have the authority to regulate and modify the speed limits on the Town of Minong town roads;

AND WHEREAS, the Town Board of the Town of Minong, believes that this reduction in speed limit is for the best interest and safety of the residents and travel in the Town of Minong;

BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED, that the Minong Town Board by board action at a Town Board Meeting held the

    11^TH   day of     JUNE    2007 voted to reduce the current speed limit of 55 miles per hour to

  45 MPH       on the entire road named         GREENWOOD  ROAD  .

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that this reduced speed limit will be enforceable after proper posting and signing has been completed.
